"BUILT TOUGH"

So, Matt has had such a fun opportunity playing football this past season. It started with about 20 really pumped and excited guys, ready for some tackle flag football. Every week the numbers got smaller and smaller. Why? You ask. well, everybody was not only getting hurt but seriously injured. There were two instances where ambulances were involved and two other men who are now working part time doe to surgeries. The funny part is one of the guys who had surgery just last week played college football and never got hurt. So, obviously those pads and helmets make a difference, along with age. Matt was one of the lucky ones who got hurt every week, but not enough to take him from his job. He broke two toes, jacked up his thigh, back and fingers. His pointer finger will never look the same. It was so funny, one night Collin wanted to sleep with a bag of frozen peas on his owey to copy daddy. I feel bad because the only pictures I have are of Collin. Both boys absolutely loved to go watch and play ball. Abigail went for the social aspect, just like her mom. Collin was prepared for all of the boys his age this day. He came with padding and all. This is what your son looks like when mom meets the family at the game after leaving work. Oh well, who cares right? Anyway, we had a lot of fun cheering on Matt. And just a side note, Matt is super good at football. You here about your husbands high school days and their athletic abilities, but it was fun to see it in action. Good Job Matt!

Wow, that's crazy. I can't believe they don't make them at least wear helmets. Collin cracks me up. Like you and Abigail the sports are always about the drink, treats and social time.
