We spent Christmas Eve together, just the six of us. It was super simple and low key. It was a bit of a bummer knowing that we weren't with our extended family but what's most important is that the six of us were together. We had the opportunity to travel to Memphis to be with family but knew after just having Emma and with the hustle and bustle of the season that this year we would just stay home. We spent Christmas Eve day shopping. Then we went out to Famous Dave's for lunch. After that we went home and played Pirate, a game Matt has played with his family since he was a little boy. Then, we got on facebook and talked to our cousins face to face. We opened our gifts from Grandma Shauna and Grandpa Dave. They gave us a pre-trip to our cruise. We will be going to Islands of Adventure in Orlando before we dock our ship. After that we had dessert and the kiddos were off to their beds. Our Christmas Eve was just like Montana. Slow paced and simple. But, that's one of the reasons we like it here most:)
